I have been eyeing the velvet pearl headband by Lele Sadoughi for months, but I actually found a summer-cotton-pique version more suitable for this hot weather. I love wearing it with my hair down or even to dress up a ponytail. It’s the cutest accessory and does wonders for those “I really need to wash my hair” days. If you aren’t sure that you are the headband type, opt for an elastic dupe; you are bound to find one at the mall. This would look super cute at the beach as well.

The other hair accessory I have been seeing bloggers all over the gram rocking are the embellished oversized hair pins. I guess not all of them are oversized as some are just plain old snap clip barrettes. No joke! The first time I saw this I was like “oh no her hairdresser forgot to remove her hair clips”. But that’s clearly not the case!

You can either put it on one side for a romantic look or split your hair down the middle and smooth it down with these clips for a more modern look. I’m not going to lie, I just bought these for my daughter who is two; but if it makes my hair look more put together and it’s trendy why not get myself some too.
