Consider it a luxury kind of streetwear – you know, the kind you wear because you’re too blazé, but also very stylish. In other words, what Kanye West would wear; and who are we really to stand before the style guru?
And so, the streetwear trend has gone viral, as everyone who’s anyone has been spotted donning a casual-meets-luxurious outfit. But what defines this trend really? First off, luxury streetwear comes alive through a series of stylish sneakers – we know you already have like a zillion of these beauties. Second, the trend features logo tees, oversized sweatshirts, slouchy sweats and skinny denims – amongst others. Finally, it gives off a laid-back vibe that only celebrities could possess.
But since fashion had previously endured a somewhat tumultuous relationship with streetwear, the trend wasn’t quite growing. Fast forward to today, it has officially exploded and we’re here to report the trendiest items to covet this summer. The Photo gallery, right this way…
