For the second consecutive year, Chopard took part in Giambattista Valli’s Haute Couture show and this comes as no surprise for the maison who is a “jeweler” member of the Fédération Française de la Haute Couture et de la Mode. The famed couture house once again invited Chopard’s co-president Caroline Scheufele to add sparkle to its show with the latest high jewelry creations.

In fact, this collaboration sheds light on the delicate craftsmanship involved in the creation of Haute Couture and High Jewelry pieces. Therefore, Giambattista Valli’s Haute Couture 16 was accompanied by exquisite jewelry pieces from Chopard’s latest “Magical Setting” collection – which was presented on the runway for the first time.

This splendid collection offers a new approach to color through classically elegant jewelry. As the models trotted down the runway, the jewels performed a dramatic light show, highlighting Chopard’s mastery of this innovative setting technique that finds inspiration in Caroline Scheufele’s vision of intensifying the life and light of a gemstone while enhancing the presence of the jewel.
