So What’s Your Body Type?

Because how the heck are you supposed to dress yourself if you don’t even know your body type?

Ladies, do us a favor and stand in front of your mirror for a while. What do you see? Does your upper part look bigger than your lower one? Or vice versa? Do you feel like you have a well-defined waistline?

Considering the fact that it is extremely important to know your body type – not just for aesthetical purposes – we want you to write down on a piece of paper what you see before scrolling down some more. Ready? If you have everything all scribbled down, then go ahead and find out what really is your body shape.

Apple Body Shape

This category includes women who have a larger upper body part in comparison to the lower one. In other words, a person who falls under this category usually has broader shoulders and a bigger bust. So if you have an apple body shape, make sure to highlight your legs and draw less attention to your upper body.

Pear Body Shape

If you’re standing in front of your mirror and feeling like your derriere and thighs are way larger than your upper body, then you’re probably a pear-shaped kind of gal – we’re looking at you Kim K. But worry not milady, everyone’s going gaga over this body type right now. Also, you probably have narrow shoulders so what you want to do here is dress in a way that strikes a balance with your upper part and you’re golden!

Hourglass Body Shape

If you fall under this category, then you are one of the lucky ones. This body type is pegged as the most balanced one, featuring proportionate upper and lower body parts with a tiny and very well-defined waistline. So if you have an hourglass figure, then by all means, go all out.

Rectangle Body Shape

The thing about this body type is that women don’t usually have a well-defined waistline. However, their strength lies in their arms and legs, so they should really concentrate on showing them off. Although the body is well balanced, the definition of the silhouette is basically non-existent and dressing should add said “Definition” to the wearer.

But no matter what body type you have ladies, shine on! You’re perfect the way you are!
