One of the things that 2020 taught us is how to live through a pandemic. From wearing masks to constantly using sanitizers, many new routines marked our daily adventures and more of them are coming our way. As part of my new hygiene routines, I found that keeping my nails short is one big a deal!

When I first went short with my nails, it was for hygienic reasons as it’s so much easier to avoid gathering bacteria underneath them. However, there are a few other things I noticed and think are essential to be shared with every woman out there. Are you having trouble to imagine yours short? Well, here are some reasons that might change your mind.

Besides the hygienic reasons which are the most important nowadays, short nails let the hand accessories you’re wearing – and by that we mean both bracelets and rings – stand out better without overwhelming the scene. If you like nail art, you’ll definitely enjoy trying out the wide selection of styles that look so much better on short nails – yes, believe us, you won’t regret that!

This is not all, as having short nails is also a great solution for those who tend to bite them when in stress, as well as those who find typing tricky when their nails are long. However, the best part of the deal is that scratches and chips are less noticeable on short nails and the process of moisturizing your fingertips will be easier, leaving your nails healthier and stronger than ever.
