Call it a hunch, but we’d be willing to wager that you would’ve done anything to have had the chance to meet one of Hollywood’s most influential stars, Sharon Tate Polanski. Need a fresh reminder? Sharon Tate was an actress and a model who rose to prominence in the sixties, kicking off her acting career with small television roles, which then blossomed into big movie appearances. The blonde sensation was also a reputable model, who had been featured in many magazines and had fronted many covers as well. It was in 1968 that the actress married her movie director Roman Polanski, leading a fun and modern life in London. Unfortunately, their love story came to a tragic end in 1969, when Tate, pregnant with the couple’s son, was brutally murdered by the Manson Family. Tate was mostly remembered for her exceptional fashionable and ahead-of-its-time taste, and her influence on fashion was mostly apparent through her sixties-infested California-girl wardrobe. A free-spirited and sultry approach to fashion was her motto and hippy-bohemian was her style of choice.

Decades later, the actress’ life is remembered through Margot Robbie’s undisputable talent, where she stars as the late Sharon Tate in the movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood” – scheduled to be released in July. And so, in ode to this beautiful and talented actress and model, we take you through a trip down memory lane to see her most iconic fashionable moments.
