Self-Quarantining, Self-Care… A Chance to Love Yourself

As our new reality sets in and we are left wondering what tomorrow holds, we have to do everything we can to keep things as “normal” as possible. As we all self-quarantine, maybe we should take advantage of this time, and do the things we barely had time for when our lives were bustling non-stop. That said, remember those beauty resolutions that you never stuck to before Covid-19? Well, here’s your chance to show yourself some love.

- Since you’re staying at home, replace that quick morning shower with a long bath every other day. This will definitely relax your body and mind and make you feel happier.

- As for those face and eye masks that you’ve stocked up on for so long and never got the chance to use, now is the time! Make yourself a cup of tea and enjoy it while waiting for the magic to be done!

- Since you’re in self-isolation mode, a massage session with an expert is not an option. So, treat yourself to a massaging machine and take advantage of your free time to relax.

- Getting more sleep is also a great idea to relax your body and mind – which will certainly reflect on your skin and its glow.

- Open the blinders as soon as you wake up to let the sunshine in! This will boost your Vitamin D and balance your cortisol levels, which helps reduce stress, and this is exactly what we need at these times.
