Anthony Vaccarello decided to break the codes as he finds them too conventional and gave Saint Laurent’s Winter 2020 collection a sense of danger. He revisited the House’s highly elegant bourgeoisie of the nineties and expressed Saint Laurent’s chic which is known to be always created from imperfection. In fact, his creations balance between control and abandonment as he reflects the tension between discipline and pleasure that defines the modernity of the House. With his touches he shows us how elegance perfectly goes with emancipated thinking.
