Who said femininity isn’t as mesmerizing in a tuxedo than in a flirty dress? For Spring-Summer 2020, Ralph Lauren is showing you that it is, in fact, a woman’s mainstay and that it forever will be as long as we all shall live. And who better to slay in a suit than Gigi Hadid? Indeed, the beautiful blond model opened the show in a white button-down shirt with a black bow, a cummerbund and wide-legged pants – a typical tuxedo look topped of with a grey coat.
And as if that wasn’t magical enough, Ralph Laurent sent out a slew of models – we’re looking at you Taylor Hill – in modernized and feminized versions of tuxedos and suits, from colored satin blazers to new renditions of formal tuxedo accessories. At some point, these formal suits turned into evening jumpsuits with satin lapels, gleaming knife-pleated gowns and one dazzling long-sleeved neck-plunging red gown worn by none-other than Bella Hadid. Need we say more?
