Prada Redefines Sustainability with a 2024 Re-Nylon Campaign

The Re-Nylon journey started back in 2019 at Prada, and today, with its 2024 advertising campaign, the House is restating how circularity and sustainability are in its heart.

The Re-Nylon journey started back in 2019 at Prada, and today, with its 2024 advertising campaign, the House is restating how circularity and sustainability are in its heart. In fact, Prada Re-Nylon has instigated a shift across the brand as a whole since the production of all Prada virgin nylon has been converted to regenerated nylon. It is a radical commitment to sustainability as Re-Nylon is created through the recycling and purification of plastic collected from the ocean – like fishing nets – and from landfills, as well as textile fiber waste from all over the world.

Featuring celebrated actors and activists Emma Watson and Benedict Cumberbatch, the campaign was shot through the lens of Willy Vanderperre. It sees beyond, portraying the Prada Group’s ongoing partnership with UNESCO for ocean preservation, and reveals a new collection literally framed by the environment it is actively preserving: the ocean. With innovation in spirit and responsibility in action, the 2024 Prada Re-Nylon Collection campaign presents an offering of timeless and eternal pieces comprising accessories and ready-to-wear for men and women.
