Fondazione Prada has welcomed yet again a slew of the most-elitist show-goers through its artistic doors, hosting Prada’s Fall/Winter 2020-2021 runway show. On the menu tonight were colors, abstract lines and mind-blowing lights. Miuccia Prada’s goal was pretty much obvious: transporting show-goers into another dimension, perhaps one that creates a balance between “the inside and the outside”.

And so, the first few models donned sharply tailored blazers with big shoulders, cinched at the waist and paired with midi-length fringed skirts. Simple yet dynamic, just like the venue’s set. Voluminous fur jackets were also cinched with delicate belts while a grey-colored palette of garments were beautifully contrasted with pops of color– whether they were found in mini-collier bags, shoes or beautiful neckties, and it was all so elegantly androgynous but in the most feminine kind of ways. Along came colored tights matched with contrasting sandals and a series of vinyl shearling gilets that were already making their way onto our FW 20-21 must-have list. Need we say more?
