Pixi Toners

We recently were shopping at a Pixi pop up store and couldn’t decide which toner to get. Of course, my solution was to get all of them and try them out: but let’s break down what each one does.

Pixi Rose Tonic is a gentle toner that hydrates and calms down redness. Of all three toners this is best for really sensitive skin. If you were to try all of them, I would start off with this one and switch to something stronger.

Next is Retinol Tonic which is a cult favorite that pretty much brings back the life to your skin via Vitamin A. If you are hesitant to use strong retinol products because it’s summer and chances are you will be in the sun, this is perfect for you. Make sure you do put some SPF on in the morning, but this won’t dry out your skin or make it super sensitive to sun like other retinol products. It’s also a great way to see how your skin will react.

Glow Tonic is probably the most popular one, so I saved the best for last. It’s basically a glycolic toner but it contains aloe vera which kinda balances it out to make it safe for sensitive skin. You can use this every day or every other day. Just try it and see how your skin reacts to it. This is definitely something I would use on a breakout because it’s anti-inflammatory. There’s also a reason it’s called glow tonic because you will notice a difference in your glow pretty quickly.
