Pieces Your Girl Can Borrow From Your Jewelry Box

As a mother, no matter what you do, you will always be your princess’s idol. She looks at you and thinks: “I want to become just like my mom” and that must definitely make you proud. She loves what you love and does what you do. She even tries to wear clothes that are as similar as possible to yours.

When it comes to jewelry, the pieces that little girls can wear and feed their love for all things shiny are limited. However, there’s nothing wrong in letting her borrow the finest pieces from your jewelry box, if only for a little while. Consider her love for jewelry a feature she inherited from you, just like her love for fashion.

As a little princess, colors and small shiny diamonds are what might catch her attention the most. Small and fine pieces will be the best choice as her tiny hands and ears, as well as her thin neck, don’t need oversized ones. As for the designs, she might take into consideration her favorite geometric shape, an element inspired by nature such as a butterfly, a cloud or a flower, or she will choose the eternal emblem of love, a heart. Either way, be prepared to let her express herself through some of your most delicate jewelry pieces! After all, there’s nothing sweeter than a little girl who’s trying to look fashionable like her mom.

PS: sizes can always be adjustable, so don’t let this factor become a barrier.

Visit the Photo Gallery below and take a look at the pieces that she can wear.

Tips to Protect Your Little Ones from the Sun

When summer starts, it’s only natural for kids to go out to play under the stinging rays of the sun. And since our kids are more vulnerable to the sun’s harmful rays than us, here are some precautions to take before they run free in the beautiful sunny outdoors.

First, your kids need sunblock not sunscreen, as the latter contains one too many chemicals for their age. In fact, sunblock should be used for your kids until they reach the age of 5 if not more.

Besides that, your 6-month old should not be left outdoors with uncovered legs and arms. So if it’s really necessary to go outside, make sure to dress your kid in long-sleeves and pants in order to protect them from UV rays. With this in mind, you can opt for clothing and hats with UV protection especially if you’re about to spend a lot of time outside.

Last but not least, make sure to provide your little ones with a lot of fluids while they’re spending their time in the sun. This will definitely protect them from getting dehydrated and keep them refreshed.

Now that we have provided you with some useful tips, we want to wish you a happy summer!

If you were wishing to make your daughter’s dream come true by treating her to a few jewelry pieces, the task might be a hassle because we all know how difficult it is to find jewelry especially designed for kids. They’re active, they’re dynamic, they want to have fun and most of all, they’re boys. So yeah, basically, they’re going to soil their trousers whether you like it or not. And yes, motherhood is a difficult job (perhaps the hardest, especially if your kids are borderline stubborn and raise hell every time they have to get dressed. But the thing is, you’ll never be completely satisfied unless you dress them with the same drive you would dress yourself – i.e., with style and confidence.

That said, kids – and especially boys – have little to no patience when it comes to fashion choices. And if you really think about it, it’s not the worst thing in the world considering the amount of stress you’ll be relieving yourself from. The trick here is to find the trousers that best suit your kid’s personality and everyday choices, so as to keep him in his comfort zone. In fact, you don’t always have to go for denim jeans; you can also dress them up really smart with a pair of gorgeous chinos or cargo pants.

And so, we’ve scoured 8 unique trousers that will surely score you some mom points.

Many studies have proven that nothing can enrich the imagination and knowledge of your children while improving their language skills and their way of thinking more than books. And with technology being at the center of their attention at any free moment of the day, you will soon realize that your kids are not taking advantage of the fun that comes with bedtime stories.

In order to avoid that, you should encourage your little ones – no matter their age – to read stories that let their imagination run wild. And if your kid reached an age that allows him or her to read a more difficult text, don’t hesitate to give him or her a book that enriches his knowledge about one of his or her interests such as cars, animals, nature, or any other topic.

With your kid’s interest and your comfort in mind, we decided to help you by narrowing down a list of the latest books that got interesting reviews out there. From stories to informative types, below are 7 releases that you will certainly like to offer as a gift to your behaving little angel.
