In fact, it comes as no surprise for the house’s founder Georges-Edouard Piaget to be attracted to the natural shine of this exquisite material that symbolizes royalty, divinity and warmth. This love led him to use only gold or platinum to craft his watches. Afterwards, came Mr. Yves G. Piaget who began to acquire goldsmith workshops in order to master watch and jewelry making, which made gold an art form for Piaget.
