Piaget Celebrates Its Art of Gold with Huda Al Nuaimi

In Piaget’s world, gold is an art and it’s through a collaboration with Emirati Print Designer Huda Al Nuaimi that the jewelry house celebrates it this Ramadan. Driven by its passion and expertise, Piaget has never ceased to push the boundaries of gold smithing – becoming one of the few Maisons to have its own gold foundry, thus allowing full control of the creative process. And just like a fine couture fabric, this precious material is weaved, sculpted and shaped into a true work of art.

Somewhere between jewelry making and art, Piaget’s collaboration with Print Designer Huda Al Nuaimi stands, as she reinterprets the Piaget history and the art of gold that it has long mastered. As the world of the Maison and that of Nuaimi meet, limitless inventiveness showcases the virtuoso techniques and craftsmanship. With infinite meticulousness, every detail highlighted by the artist pays an ode to the singularity and savoir-faire of Piaget’s collections and gold techniques. As an artistic expression of both worlds, the artist’s imagination turns Possession into Craspedia and Sunlight collection into the sun, while the Moon was drawn into a Palace Décor effect and the iconic Piaget Rose took the simplest of forms.

To further celebrate the Holy Month of Ramadan, the prints – along with sceneries taken from Nuaimi’s work – will be featured on the second edition of Ramadan coffee cups.
