OKHTEIN Launches its First-Ever Retail Experience

It’s through an experiential pop-up at Mall of the Emirates’ Store of the Future that OKHTEIN chose to launch its first-ever retail experience in Dubai. Until January 31st, visitors will get to celebrate with the brand its ideology of “two worlds intertwined” and live an immersive experience in its “phygital” pop-up featuring contrasting stories, materials and elements.

OKHTEIN’s unique DNA and play on dualities come alive, as Arab traditions mingle with Western influences and nature meets technology – blending future and past. This pop-up houses organic shapes in soft, tonal colors, in a futuristic, tech-driven space in reference to the underlying themes of subversive classicism, figurative surrealism and sisterhood that have been at the heart of the brand since it was founded by sisters Mounaz and Aya Abdelraouf.  

In addition to the label’s Power and Garden collections, an edit of eyewear, small leather goods and belts, the pop-up features an exciting new capsule collection designed by OKHTEIN in close collaboration with one of Egypt’s most celebrated contemporary icons, as well as exclusive, one-of-a-kind Swaroski-encrusted editions of the brand’s Felucca clutches.
