What is it about sneakers that make us want to buy the whole bunch? And by “whole bunch” we mean every single one of them, from the dad sneakers to the low-tops, the high-tops and everything in between.

I remember growing up at a time where sneakers were considered only a “sports thing”. Looking back, I had always associated these shoes with casualwear and therefore, school-wear. Today, I personally wear sneaks everywhere. Heck I’ll even wear them to my wedding under my billowing dress if I have to!

Thankfully, I’m not the only one infatuated with the trend, as everyone who’s anyone has been plunging in the sneakers craze, from the world’s biggest celebrities, to fashion connoisseurs and of course, the biggest designers. We’ve been provided with a multitude of options to choose from and a hoard of colors and styles. Could a sneakers lover ask for more?

So sorry grandma – or whoever used to scold me for wearing sneakers on the wrong occasion – my time has come to shine again!
