Must Have Brow Products

Unless you’ve microbladed your brows, which I’m considering, eyebrows are pretty high maintenance. So what does this high maintenance entail?

Let’s start off with grooming/tweezing; my all-time favorite tweezers are by Tweezerman. I also love those old school German ones from the pharmacy.
After plucking, we need to trim all the untamed hairs with a pair of sharp scissors.
Now let’s talk makeup. I am all about a quick roll up pencil like the Dior Brow Styler in Universal Brown, but lately I have been using more of a powder for a softer look. I love mini palettes like the YVES SAINT LAURENT Couture Brow Palette for that because, you can use the lighter shade in the front of your brows to make it look more natural, and the nude shade to highlight the brow bone.
Speaking of highlighting, I think this is my favorite step. Whether it’s concealer or a pencil like the Benefit High Brow, I love me a brow highlight.

Next is brow gel. I go for Anastasia clear brow gel. Using the brow gel keeps all the hairs in place, and I love how it kinda blends all the product in so as to clean up any mistakes I have made with the pencil or the powder.

On a different note, there’s something about doing your makeup right after you clean up your brows makes them look oh so good. So now with those perfect brows, time to paint that gorgeous face on.
