I personally don’t get lash extensions, but I have many friends that do. So, if you’re like me, let’s go back to basics together. How can we make our mascara look just as good as our friend’s with the extensions?

The number one thing is a lash curler, and remember that the longer you hold the curl the longer it will last. I usually like to count to 20 on each eye, so I can have both eyes even. Next, go a little further out and curl again.

When applying mascara, apply it at the base by using a finger to lift the lid.

Next, clean off the tip and hold it vertically to get in the inner and outer corners.

Another great tip, is mixing different mascaras. Maybe start off with Benefit Badgal Bang! Volumizing Mascara, and then switch to a more natural one for the bottom lashes. I like to add a lengthening one as the last step like Make up Forever SMOKY STRETCH LENGTHENING & DEFINING MASCARA. I also have been wearing mascara less often, and using either a lash serum or castor oil to strengthen my lashes.
