Louis Vuitton’s “Les Extraits” Olfactory Marvels

French perfumer Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud and Frank Gehry, one of the greatest living masters of architecture, joined forces and together they designed the amazing “Les Extraits” collection. The latter is a hymn to freedom, to absolute movement, the breath of life, and the perpetual metamorphosis of nature. Classic and timeless, each of the five new fragrances is structured like an olfactory column with no top, heart nor base notes. Even though this was reflected through the roundness of the elongated bottle, the cap turns the tables around with its crumpled aluminum-like design.

Whether you chose the “Dancing Blossom” perfume for its cascade of flowers, “Cosmic Cloud” for its weightless notes, “Rhapsody” for its mixture of woody, underbrush notes transformed by more vanilla notes, “Symphony” for its fusion of heaven and Earth, or “Stellar Times” for its offering of a beautiful escape on the magic carpet of dreams – or all five because, why not? – you’re definitely in for a real treat.
