In the second campaign of Louis Vuitton X Yayoi Kusama, faces are the canvases. Drop 2 of “Creating Infinity” is another interpretation of the avant-garde Japanese artist’s most iconic signature, the Dots, through which the House channeled her expressive, joyful spirit in new motifs. Through the lens of photographer Steven Meisel, different Ambassadors and friends of Louis Vuitton posed for a series of playful portraits embellished with colorful, expressionistic statements inspired by some of Yayoi Kusama’s most distinctive motifs. With Lea Seydoux, Cate Blanchett, Justin Timberlake, Naomi Osaka, Hoyeon and Zhou Dongyu, a series of radiant pumpkins, colorful faces, flowers and iconic Louis Vuitton accessories were brought to the spotlight. Overall, the artwork became just perfect with the contribution of the makeup artist Pat McGrath, hairstylist Guido, Creative Director Ferdinando Verderi and stylist Carine Roitfeld.
