Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter 2020-2021 Ready-to-Wear

Fall 2020 is looking like the perfect season to be in! Indeed, closing Paris Fashion Week, the Louis Vuitton show is actually one of the most long-awaited, star-studded fashion shows of the season and Nicolas Ghesquière did everything in his power to keep it that way. So as show-goers settled themselves in for the opening looks, the runway show kicked off with a gilet-kind of puffer jacket paired with a ruffled skirt and pointy ankle boots with geometrical lines.

Speaking of geometrical lines, the whole collection was made out of cuts and patterns that set the tone for the entire show. The result was a cheerful mix of big puffer jackets and fancy jupons in a myriad of colors and fabrics. The leather game was truly on point as the designer unveiled a couple of finely-crafted leather pieces, from jackets to skirts. But perhaps our favorite part of the show – and the collection for that matter – were the series of Michael-Jackson-inspired navy jackets that were embroidered with a galore of prints and movements.
