With every new release, Lebanese singer and songwriter Dana Hourani manages to steal our hearts not only with her beautiful voice, but also with the stories she tells through every project. For her new song “Yay (Sehr Oyounu)”, she took Nancy Ajram’s well known song and added her touches to it, thus giving us a new cover. The least we can say is that it’s equally amazing as the original song, especially that Dana sang it expressing her huge love for it. She considers Yay a “declaration of happiness in many languages, and in many places around the world. A three-letter word that crosses boundaries and brings people together in joy – that, for me, is the ultimate purpose of music.”
