Let’s Welcome Bandanas and Headbands Back!

Ladies, you must have noticed that bandanas and headbands are making a major comeback to the fashion scene this season – and it seems that they are here to stay, at least for a while! Therefore, it’s totally inappropriate to let this trend go unnoticed so, let’s rejoice the fact that it’s here just in time for summer. Of course, you must also know that what makes us so sure about this is their appearance on the runways, and we don’t mean the Spring-Summer 2019 ones only, but also those of Fall-Winter 2019-2020.

These pieces are so versatile that you can wear them with almost everything. While some brands like Dior presented clean looks using these creations of the past, some others like Dolce & Gabbana went all out by pairing them with oversized earrings. If you think that the list ends here, you’re absolutely wrong! The runways proved that this trend is for everybody; yes, whether you have short, long, sleek or curly hair, every look has its own character and stylish feel. Some brands have even reached new territories, offering options that are ideal for a special occasion or a soirée – leaving you no choice but to embrace this trend to the fullest!

If you think that’s quite impressive just like we do, we’ve gathered a list of runway looks that constitute a great source of inspiration to you and to every stylish woman. Check them out!

Lip Fillers

My girlfriend just called me to ask me if she should get her lips injected; “just a little bit” she said. Of course, my response was “do whatever makes you happy.” But let’s admit though, we all have that one friend that became addicted and is labeled “duck lips” because of her Instagram selfies.
Lip injections have become out-of-control-popular with even super young girls asking for them nowadays. If done right they look pretty amazing. But the idea of a needle going anywhere near my lips is frightening to me. That said, I do always stare at this one influencer’s lips in envy.

So, if you are self-conscious about your lips and the lip liner just isn’t cutting it, here is everything you need to know.
First off, the safest form is a hyaluronic acid injection. Collagen is a thing of the past and fat transfer is too permanent.

Go to a doctor that understands the look you are going for. For example, for a more natural look don’t do the corners of your mouth.

There are different injecting techniques so get more than one consultation.

It lasts about 4-6 months the first time and kind of dissolves on its own.

It does hurt a lot unless you get really numb and you might bruise from a couple of days to a week. Happy pouting!

Redefining Charm with Musky Fragrances

Cover Photo: Bvlgari’s Le Gemme Collezione Murano Noorah fragrance

The weather is getting colder and as the temperature drops, you might be considering  a warmer fragrance. However, going for a perfume with warm notes doesn’t necessarily mean that the one you choose must have a strong scent. Here’s where the musky fragrances come in to offer you a great substitute for strong scents that are ideal for those colder times of the year.

Becoming rarer with time, musk in fragrances acts like the white canvas on which all the other notes lie. Why is it so important in the fragrance industry? Well, it’s all thanks to its ability to add a perfect balance to the perfume’s composition while adding a subtle touch of sensuality and warmth to it and making the perfume last longer as it reduces its evaporation rate.

Priced at almost $45,000 per kilogram, musk is one of the most precious ingredients used in perfumery. In fact, it’s not only precious in price, but its scent also adds an unparalleled luxurious feel to the fragrance. For the love of this sophisticated ingredient, we’ve gathered a list of perfumes that make musk their base note to get you ready for the colder days. Join us below and check it out!

Update Your Brush Collection

I don’t know about you but my brushes are like my babies. I take such good care of them because they are part of my everyday life. If I’m good to them they are good to me and stay with me for a long time. With that said, I have decided to add a few more to my collection and here are some incredible choices.

Fenty Cheek Hugging Bronzer Brush 120- First off it’s shaped like a shark tooth, how cool is that? But what is the point of that shape? Well our faces aren’t flat so when you put a regular brush against it, the product doesn’t go on correctly. But when it “hugs” your face it does exactly what it’s meant to do.

Smashbox Fan brush- When using powder if you want a really light hand this is a must. It’s almost like a little tickle. Use it to gently apply setting powder, bronzer, highlighter and blush.

HUDA BEAUTY Bake & Blend Brush- This double-sided brush is great for applying dense amount of product and then blending it out. Since I’m not much of a “baker”,I love using it when I contour with my cream bronzer.
