For the premiere of “James Bond: No Time to Die”, Léa Seydoux and Ana de Armas amazed us with their red carpet looks. Choosing Louis Vuitton for their custom dresses, they absolutely gave us something to think about. In fact, that’s exactly what we’re here for, to tell you all about the savoir-faire behind these gorgeous creations.

Léa Seydoux wore a custom embroidered silk georgette crêpe dress with pleated details and cape that took 220 hours to assemble and another 300 hours to individually place and hand-embroider the look. It’s composed of separate sections: top, skirt, belt and cape, that each required precise construction and individual assembly with thousands of sequins and beads in 4 different sizes. A true white princess!
Ana de Armas’ black velvet dress had chain-effect straps that were created digitally with laser cutting employed where necessary, a deep “V” décolleté and thigh-high side split. Being the stars of the design, the straps are entirely embroidered with thousands of Japanese and glass beads requiring over 103 hours to complete.
