As soon as watch and jewelry enthusiasts heard about the arrival of L’ECOLE Van Cleef & Arpels to Dubai, they started to get ready to register for all the interesting classes and workshops. And now, it’s time to make this dream a reality as the Maison announces the start of registration.
After the success of the nomadic campuses in Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York, a new chapter in its journey begins in Dubai, and more specifically at Hai d3, from the 7th to the 25th of November with 14 adult classes focused on three themes – Savoire-Faire, Art History of Jewels and the Universe of Gemstones – as well as five creative workshops for children and adolescents from 5 to 16 years of age. And that’s not all, as L’ECOLE is also participating in “The Year of Giving” declared by the UAE President, His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and will donate all the funds collected from course registrations during the event to Dubai Cares. While the creative workshops dedicated for children and adolescents are free of charge, students of the adult classes are asked to contribute a minimum donation of AED 400 to the organization.
“L’ÉCOLE’s program for Dubai was built in the desire to give back to the Middle East, to share our knowledge alongside local partners on the fine craftsmanship of jewelry and watchmaking,” said Marie Vallanet-Delhom, President of L’ÉCOLE Van Cleef & Arpels. “We are also excited to be part of the “Year of Giving,” where all funds collected from the course registrations will be donated to Dubai Cares. We invite everyone to participate and explore the world of joaillerie.”
