HUGO celebrates the 10th anniversary of Dubai’s iconic Sole DXB festival by exploring effortless self-expression at Dubai Design District from 9 to 11 December, 2022. This isn’t a regular celebration, as it brings together the worlds of footwear, music, art, and lifestyle and the House took the opportunity to make a statement with a pair of limited-edition HU-GO1ST sneakers, designed and produced exclusively for the UAE. HU-GO1ST is not due to launch before Spring-Summer 2023 but Dubai got an exclusive preview through the dedicated space at Sole DXB 2022 to where HUGO invited renowned international Syrian artist, Dina Saadi, to offer festival-goers an opportunity to customize their sneakers.
Returning after 2 years, the festival became even more special with HUGO’s contribution as it definitely left unparalleled touches, not only on the event but in our hearts as well. Between the hiking-inspired pattern on the sole, the bold rubber outsole with reflective details and a special lacing system, the breathable materials, the curated palette of HUGO red, black, and white, with the exclusive addition of green in honor of the UAE national flag, and all the thought-after details, we were truly charmed.
Now that the exclusive HU-GO1ST sneaker launched at Sole DXB, it will be available in limited quantities across HUGO stores at The Dubai Mall and Mall of the Emirates.
