It’s with a swooning timepiece that Hublot chose to take part in this year’s edition of Dubai Watch Week while celebrating the UAE’s Golden Jubilee. Hand in hand with its UAE partner Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons, the Swiss luxury watch manufacture honored the country and its 50-year journey with the Classic Fusion Chronograph Concrete Sand timepiece.

On this occasion, Hublot’s CEO Ricardo Guadalupe stated: “We are happy to celebrate the UAE’s 50th anniversary with our partners Ahmed Seddiqi & Sons by launching this special edition which is a perfect representation of the nation’s creativity and ingenuity. We are looking forward to seeing the watch on the wrists of Hublotistas and collectors in the Emirates.”

A true tribute to the avant-garde country, the watch brings historic material to light – sand and camel leather. Symbolizing strength and endurance is the fine concrete of which is made the 45mm case and the matching bezel. And while the minute detailing evokes UAE’s cities’ edges and structure, the dial features actual sand from this land to make each of these 100 limited editions more unique than ever.
