How to Reduce Bloating

Remember when you were a teenager and could eat an entire pizza and still have a flat stomach? Well those days are over! Whether you are a skinny, mini or a curvy cutie we all have dealt with the bloat. Whether it’s that time of the month or we just simply have over eaten, a bloated belly can really rain on your parade. Sometimes no matter how much we work out or eat healthy that belly just won’t go away. So enough about the problems let’s figure out what to do.
First off don’t eat too much at a time. Meaning you can still eat the same amount, but try to break it up throughout the day instead of waiting until dinner time when you are starving and overdo it.

Many times, bloating can be from food allergies like wheat or dairy. Ask your doctor for tests to figure out if you need to avoid something that’s hurting your overall health.
This next one was new to me: “avoid swallowing air and gases.” What does that even mean? Well, for example if you are like me and don’t drink much plain water and keep reaching for that Pellegrino to make up for it, you are causing that big bloat!
Chewing gum is another culprit.
Drinking through a straw? Yes, really! Also, talking while eating.
Of course, a healthy diet and digestive tract are number one. Most healthy diets include many gas producing veggies so if you know you are going out, try to take it easy on those for a day or so.
