Here Is the Right Way to Detangle Your Hair

How many times have you come out of the shower and wondered how much time your hair needs to be detangled? A lot, we’re sure! But worry not, because that’s the case for most of us! From the humidity in the air to the pollution and the fact that we expose our hair to heat, it’s absolutely normal to encounter some difficulty in keeping it healthy and brush it easily after every shower. Therefore, here are a few tips to make the task easier.

  • Using the right comb makes a big difference; so opt for a wide tooth one that can achieve this task gently and minimizes the risk of ripping it from the scalp.
  • If conditioner is not enough to help you detangle your hair easily, add a leave-in conditioner or a detangling spray to your hair routine to make this task a whole lot easier.
  • When towel drying your hair, patting it gently is the right way.  So, after squeezing the excess water from the hair, wrap it in a towel and leave it on while you go through your skincare and makeup routine. After 20 minutes, it will be ready for a quick blow dry!
  • Sleeping also gets our hair tangled. Therefore, braiding it before going to bed is the safest way to avoid this.
  • Believe it or not, your pillow case can also augment the chances of hair tangling. So make sure to use a 100% silk or satin one.
