Clare-Waight Keller has always designed for strong and powerful women – we’re looking at you Meghan Markle – and she’s always delivered a set of iconic pieces, worthy of the modern-day woman. And this collection in particular was no different than the others:  superb and feminist in every way possible. Entitled “Arthouse Beauty”, the collection was the perfect combination between strong bold lines and more feminine touches. Indeed, the English designer sent out models in sharp shouldered-pieces – all of which were sensually cinched at the waist to highlight a woman’s undying femininity. There were tailored suits in a black and color palette at times and sultry dresses with puffy balloon sleeves in colored graphic patterns at other times. The dialogue between sharpness and femininity was once again ever so alive amidst the sea of eager show-goers, as the designer summoned subtle references from vintage French cinema. The eveningwear section was drowning in a whirlpool of feathered pieces, from sophisticated gowns to skirts and so forth – outfits we’ll probably be spotting on the red carpets.
