Through its Couture collection, Giorgio Armani Privé performed an imaginary dance composed of lines, light and delicately vibrating colors. Shining more than ever, small, jeweled jackets, long skirts, fluid trousers and sheath dresses were ornamented with diamond motifs in peony pink, turquoise, emerald green and royal blue.
Black hems were a stand-out factor in the collection, either scribbling over the figure or running along the profile of the clothes, while the face was illuminated by small gorgères or hidden by tulle veils. Later on, the beauty of the Rococo interiors in venetian palazzos was reflected through extraordinary embroidery. Everything was light, impalpable and glittering to embody the splendor of light – bringing a painting of unparalleled beauty to reality.
