Giorgio Armani Privé Couture Fall/Winter 2021-2022 Collection

Once again, Giorgio Armani Privé takes us on a time journey through symbols, lines and colors. The show held in the building that houses the Italian Embassy in Paris included some garments from the latest Haute Couture collection entitled “In Homage to Milan”, highlighting the House’s authenticity before anything else.

Luminosity took over the collection; fabrics almost seemed liquid, while satins and silks were interwoven with ultra-fine metallic threads that added to their shine. Long dresses seemed to float and crinoline ruffles added movement to delicate blouses. Elegance took an evocative turn in outfits composed of long skirts, short bodices and jackets, and the masculine Armani style underwent an unexpected and extremely feminine makeover.

Equally surprising was the palette of colors, packing its own kind of statement in the classic world of couture – think jade green, mauve, cornflower blue, slate, indigo and a range of pinks from blush to powder, Kasaya and pomegranate. And to balance all this, accessories featured a clean design, embodied in nude sock boots studded with crystals, low and elongated shoes, fabric ballet flats, pumps with ultra-slim heels, small clutches covered with stones and bags made of nearly weightless feathers that truly speak to the Giorgio Armani Privé woman.
