Spring-Summer 2020 Ready to Wear, Dior show Backstage

Dior keeps amazing us with every new show, and this time it was makeup’s turn. The great Peter Philips, creative and image director for Dior makeup, created a wonderful look that amazed everyone with its natural and fresh flair. Are you ready to try it yourself?

Start off by prepping your skin with Hydra Life Fresh Hydration Sorbet Creme and boost the radiance of your eye area using Hydra Life Cooling Hydration Sorbet Eye Gel. Prime your skin with Dior Backstage Face & Body Primer, then lightly apply your skin’s shade of Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation. To set the makeup, spray Hydra Life Fresh Reviver Water Mist on the entire face. And if your face needs touch ups, add Diorskin Forever Undercover Concealer where needed.

Now, let’s move to the eyes. Curl your lashes with Dior Backstage Eyelash Curler, and then emphasize your look with a very narrow line of eyeliner applied to the lash line of the upper eyelid. Add an elegant French twist to your look by using either Dior On Stage Liner in 091 Matte Black or the Shadow-to-Liner gel blended with the Matte Black eyeshadow from the all-new Dior Backstage Custom Eye Palette in 001 Universal Neutrals.

Like with every look, Peter Philips kept the lips very natural, highlighted with Dior Lip Maximizer. According to the model’s skin tone, he chose among shades 001 Pink, 012 Rosewood and 013 Beige.

As for the hair, Guido Palau went for a youthful hairstyle composed of two thick braids starting at the top of the head and framing the face on their way down past the temples.
