For Dior’s Fall/Winter 2019-2020 ready-to-wear collection, Creative and Image Director Peter Philips concocted a look with graphic, rock eyes.

“I was inspired by the sassy style of English teddy girls in the late 1950s, their avant-garde style, very Londoner. The result is a very graphic and intense black eye, in a rock style reinterpreted with a bit of a punk feel,” he explained.

To create the black upper eyelid, use the Waterproof Eyeliner Crayon in Noir Trinidad then draw a series of short, spaced-out straight lines underneath the eye using the Diorshow On Stage Liner in Matte Black. Coat the lashes with Diorshow Maximizer 3D first, then curl them using Diorshow Pump’N’Volume mascara in Black Pump. Finally, define the eyebrows in a natural way with Diorshow Brow Styler.

To make your complexion look pure and natural, use Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation and hide imperfections using Diorskin Undercover Concealer, then highlight the face with touches of Flash Luminizer. Lips were also kept natural, so prep yours with Lip Sugar Scrub, then subtly heighten them using Dior Addict Stellar Shine in Mirage.

For the nails, paint them either beige with Dior Vernis in Wild Earth or brown with Dior Vernis in Terra Gold, depending on your skin tone. Finally, if your hair was long, style it into a ponytail tied by the neck with a clear side part like Guido Palau did, or keep it as it is if it is short.
