Many are the times when we look at a postcard and make a wish this breathtaking scenery would be real. Sometimes – if not all the time, the universe answers and offers places that are worthy to be looked at non-stop. Well, dear readers, here are 5 destinations that don’t seem to be real, yet they are!

Skogafoss, Iceland

This breathtaking scenery captures one of Iceland’s biggest and most beautiful waterfalls. This is not all, as this magical place witnesses at least one rainbow any time the sun shines from behind the clouds. As for the land underneath it, it’s very flat that adventurers can walk right up to the wall of the water, taking this experience to a whole new level.

This piece of heaven is the land of exotic wildlife, fishing activities, and diving. There’s actually a reason for it to be ranked as one of the best islands in the world: you can’t but fall in love with its white sand beaches, clear blue waters and majestic limestone cliffs. Well, this one is definitely worth being on a bucket list!

As heavenly as a village could be, Lauterbrunnen is known for its many fountains just like its name indicates. Many are its offerings, from historical monuments, natural beauties, and adventurous activities – making it the perfect destination for everyone without any exception.

Carrying a name that means “beautiful little island”, Naladhu is a Maldivian gem with unparalleled beauty. For those who are seeking a way to reconnect with themselves and with nature, it’s certainly a place worth visiting for a one-of-a-kind wellness retreat spent in one of its 20 houses named after local plants and flowers for an additional touch of originality.

As Germany’s deepest and cleanest lake, it’s a place fit for royalty as its history counts. First and foremost, it offers silence as a luxury that we so long for in these fast-paced times, as well as the chance to hike in its captivating scenery, enjoy the world-famous echo of the boatman’s trumpet and eat some fresh and delicious smoked trout and whitefish during summer – to name a few.
