As I stare down at my chipped nails, I am dreaming of what shades I want to try next. Here are some of our favorites.

Let’s start with OPI “Lincoln Park after Dark” because since Halloween, I can’t stop loving this black shade. For a more festive red, OPI’s “Malaga Wine” is such a beautiful shade.
We are also loving the almond shapes for nails with something in a cool greyish tone like Essie’s “On Mute” or “Petal Pushers”. 
Guerlain LA PETITE ROBE NOIRE DELICIOUSLY SHINY NAIL COLOUR in 007 Black Perfecto is a beautiful deep plum, and Sephora Collection Color Hit Nail Polish in L138 Cookie Break is such a perfect taupey nude. There are so many shades, it’s really hard to choose!   

If you aren’t afraid of a little sparkle we also love either all sparkle or just doing one nail sparkly. 

I love doing all red and just adding a sparkly red to one nail, like OPI’s “Dream in Glitter” and “A Kiss on the Chic” from the Hello Kitty Collection. “Isn’t She Iconic” is also such a beautiful silver; seems the grey family is popping up a lot in nail colors.
You can be a plane Jane with your nudes all year, but remember festive time only comes once a year, so take advantage and be a little “extra” with your nails!
