As we discover new technologies every day, speed has become key. That’s why, Saudi Telecom Company (STC) decided to join forces with Nokia and use its Photonic Service Engine 3 (PSE-3) chipset. Through this technology, the Middle East and Africa's first 200G long-haul transmission and 300G regional reach field trial will be conducted. As for its goal? It will simply give users superior network performance and it will help STC deal with the high flow of video, cloud and 5G traffic, and lower the operational expenses.

This step will definitely bring STC closer to realizing the digital transformation goals as specified in the Saudi Vision 2030.
