Dry Conditioner

I always hear about girls using dry shampoo to add volume or hide an oily scalp but as much as it sounds like a fun quick fix, I admit I don’t have much use for it. My scalp is usually dry and my hair is so curly and thick that volume is not an issue. So when I went in for my weekly blow dry, I was offered a dry shampoo at checkout, but when I explained that I wasn’t much of a fan, I was offered dry conditioner. I had no idea what it was, but it sounded like the right match for my hair. Anything with the words condition, moisture or repair works best for my hair type. For those with frizzy hair, this is a dream come true. Unlike a dry shampoo, you keep this away from your scalp since it will add shine. To apply, you just shake the bottle and spray it on. I like to use it the day after or on the third day of blow drying, when my hair feels super dry and frizzy. Besides adding a shine, I noticed when I finger combed my hair, it also added some texture. If your hair isn’t too oily or too dry, I would even recommend a combo. You could do the dry shampoo for the roots and dry conditioner for the ends or tips.
