Diane Kruger looked stunning at the debut gala of Tiffany & Co. 2016 Blue Book collection in New York City. This lady in red, wore a Kaufmanfranco gown with a breathtaking necklace from the collection. The classic style of her gown and her exquisite necklace was reminiscent of that old Hollywood glamour. Her hair was simple and curled inwards to give that glamorous movie star look of the 1940s. Her makeup was flawless yet understated. We can only dream of wearing a half a million dollar necklace but what we can do is recreate her makeup look.

Face: Start off with a primer since it’s a special event and we want the makeup to stay in place. I like to pair up the Make Up Forever Step 1 Skin Equalizer Primer with the Make up Forver Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation. For concealer, the MAC Prolongwear goes on wet but dries to the perfect matte finish that isn’t cakey and will stay put all night. I also like to use this all over the lid as my eye base. Add a little bit around your nose and lips or anywhere you see some redness. Next, I move on to eyes until my base is drying to later dust on the Chanel Poudre Universelle Libre Natural Finish Loose Powder to set the foundation.

Eyes: The Eyes are probably the most important part of this look. It’s almost like a very subtle brown bronzy smokey eye. Using the Too Faced Chocolate Bar not only looks great but smells like chocolate and who doesn’t love chocolate! Start off with the “chocolate caramel” to define the crease. Use “Semi Sweet” a little bit below that and blend them together to have that dark to light transition. Use “Hazelnut” or “Amareto” on the lids mixed with “Creme Brule” if you want more of a pop of gold. Blend them all together again and use “Marzipan” on the inner corner to make your eyes look bigger. Use a smaller brush to warm up the lower lash line with “Chocolate Caramel”. Use Marc Jacobs Beauty Highliner Gel Eye Crayon Eyeliner in Golden Brown just to define the lash line a bit.

Lips: NARS Sheer Lipstick in Barbarella is a nice nude to compliment the eyes.

Use the Bobbi Brown Bronze Shimmer Brick Compact to warm up the face and you are transformed into a bronzed beauty.
