Date night make up

When we finally decided to treat ourselves to a date night, I realized that the makeup-free look I had been rocking lately wasn’t going to cut it. We were going to a trendy place full of hotties, and I wanted to feel good about myself. I didn’t want to wear tons of makeup, but I definitely wanted a hot eye look.

I started off with a full coverage foundation. TARTE Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Full Coverage Foundation SPF 15 along with TARTE Double Duty Beauty Shape Tape Contour Concealer. I figured with Tarte products, I can get the coverage I want and I don’t have to worry about retouching. I love the fact that their products are all good for your skin. I’m not contouring for this look since I am going to go heavier on the eyes. For my blush, I decided to go with an old favorite but in a new formula: NARS Liquid Blush in Orgasm. After filling in my brows, I was ready to work on the eyes. I love using Mac Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Bare Skin as my base. I realized halfway through that I should have done my eyes first, so I used a cream product to avoid getting black powder all over my face. Using MAC Pro Longwear Fluidline, I lined my eyes really fast without letting it dry so I could smoke it out. If you’re feeling courageous try out a wing. A good tip is to go back to the lash line and go over it with the product to make the lash line darker. With whatever product you have left in your brush, go ahead and darken up the water line. After, mascara and clear gloss, and I was ready for my date.
