Concealers for Every Age

We have so much to be grateful for, even in these crazy circumstances. In addition to grateful, hopeful is something we should also try to be as we dream of life after Covid -19 and here’s something to look forward to.
I recently came across one of my favorite concealers from Kevyn Aucoin, and without hesitation bought it and thought “why did I stop using this?”
I got home and couldn’t wait to try it on only to find it way too thick.
So what made me think I needed such a thick concealer in my 30s? Well back then the skin around my eyes wasn’t as dry as it is now. I slept better, and my overall skin was smoother and plumper.
The concealer itself has a thick consistency, but I realized this was the concealer for the “old” me and the new me had different needs. Which led me to my next question; is my concealer making me look old? I love and use the MAC Prolongwear Concealer but wondered if it was time for a change. I wanted to take a stroll down concealer history before starting my journey of searching for a new one and I thought my top choices could help you too.

When I was much younger, I didn’t even use concealer and chances are you don’t need to either. But if you really want to try some for a special occasion I loved the MAC Mineralize Concealer. It’s light and super hydrating and you can apply it to any pimples as well.

If you are in your 30’s NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer is a very popular one along with Tarte Shape Tape.

Since I am in my 40s now, I will speak on behalf of the group. We want something that covers our flaws and stays on all day so we don’t need to think about setting it etc. YSL ALL HOURS CONCEALER seems like the perfect choice for us!
Moral of the story, what was once the best thing for you, might not be anymore. Just like we are evolving, so are our beauty needs.
