The 75th Cannes Film Festival is certainly a special one, at least for Chopard. As the much-anticipated event fast approaches, the high jewelry Maison expresses its love towards cinema by unveiling the first creations ahead of the full Red Carpet collection and staging them from May 17 to May 28, 2022. And just like in every Red Carpet collection, Chopard’s Co-President and Artistic Director Caroline Scheufele never fails to bring alive her zest for life and eclectic taste through dazzling marvels.
The seventh art is at the heart of this year’s edition consisting of no fewer than 75 high jewelry creations. Finding inspiration in her favorite movies, Caroline Scheufele morphs into a director creating her own film. A selection of high quality precious stones adorns exquisite jewels that tell the story of their beauty. Think earrings set with two 17.16 and 15.85-carat unheated sapphires, a necklace based on an exceptional 13.69-carat internally flawless D-grade diamond evoking the spirit of the French Riviera, a rich pearl necklace punctuated by a pear-shaped spinel and a set of aquamarine and diamond rings and earrings shaped like the prow of a gondola and Venetian bridges – to name a few.
