For 34 years in a row, Chopard is still the world sponsor and official timekeeper to the 1000 Miglia rally. Among the participants of course was Chopard’s Co-President and long-standing 1000 Miglia competitor Karl-Friedrich Scheufele accompanied by his old friend Jacky Ickx. Together they led Chopard’s team of 5 cars and made sure to start the celebrations a day ahead by hosting an exclusive dinner at the beautiful Albereta restaurant during which Karl-Friedrich Scheufele unveiled the much-anticipated Mille Miglia 2021 Race Edition watches.   

For this year, a model with a 44mm chronograph was chosen and it will be available in two limited-edition versions; the first will be an all-steel model and the second will be counterpart with bezels, push pieces and hands made from 18-carat rose gold. However, both will have slate grey dials, red-tipped markers, a chequered flag design on the back of the case, a three-counter set-up, and more interesting features.
