CHANEL in Netflix’s “7 Days Out”

Fashion can also be documented, as has proven Andrew Rossi, the acclaimed director of “The First Monday in May”. In fact, CHANEL is at the heart of an episode from the documentary series titled “7 Days Out”. Offering an intimate look inside the most significant historical and cultural events in the worlds of fashion, food, entertainment, sports – to name a few, each episode of this Netflix series follows an esteemed visionary and his/her team for seven full days to highlight their way in preparing for their most important event of the season.

For CHANEL’s episode, Andrew Rossi was given unprecedented access to the house’s art director Karl Lagerfeld and his team in January 2018, and the result is a documentation of the final preparations for the Spring-Summer 2018 Haute Couture show. From the studio to the Haute Couture ateliers and the ateliers of CHANEL’s Métiers d’art, the episode is packed with brilliance, creativity and wonder as we discover how these dreamy-like creations are brought to life.

Let’s take a quick look back at this unforgettable Haute Couture collection!
