Céline Spring-Summer 2018 Must-Have Accessories

Back in October 2017, when Céline’s Spring-Summer 2018 show first kicked off, we were all taken aback by the collection’s rich lexicon – think oversized suits, pared-down coats and a wardrobe that would fit the modern-day woman.

Now, looking back at the fabulous accessories spotted on the runway, we’re pretty sure these beauties will spark some madness amongst the House’s lovers. Phoebe Philo chose to make her mark in remarkable fashion, bringing forth a timeless collection chockfull of Céline’s moniker heritage. Everything – from the outfits down to every accessory – screamed simplicity and elegance, a quality that only the House can pride itself in. Amidst the fury of oversized designs, came a slew of boxy leather clutches, pliable leather purses and large tote bags that marked the House’s exceptional knack for quality and intricate craftsmanship. Philo’s forte was loud and clear: being experimental but forever timeless. And who could ever argue with that?

The innovative bags eschewed a neutral color palette at times, and a twist in patterns at other times; but the result seemed to always veer towards class. The sophisticated series of footwear included kitten heels, leather ankle boots and block-heeled pumps for an added edge. But perhaps our favorite accessory was the calfskin Big Bag with suede lining, featuring 3 sizes ranging from Small, Medium to Bucket. The colors alternate between black, burgundy, amazone, tan, pop red, black, anthracite, iceberg, beige and medium blue.

Phoebe Philo really delved into the characteristics of femininity, keeping intact her reputation for great design and quality. Below, we’ve scoured the House’s most covetable accessories and of course, the ever-so dream Big Bag. To the Photo Gallery!
