Bvlgari at Geneva Watch Days 2021 – The Octo Saga Continues…

By taking part in this year’s edition of Geneva Watch Days, Bvlgari invites us to travel and explore the universal language of watchmaking. And with the Octo novelties, the new chapter unfolds complications that go beyond gender, style and differences and takes us on a journey that is only limited by extreme creativity.

Perfectly in line with this year’s theme, the new Octo Roma WorldTimer is ready to travel the world with you. With a new integral movement beating at its heart, this timepiece takes travel time-telling to new, contemporary territories through its Octo Roma case, thus becoming the must-have of our times. Reading the time in 24 time zones, the dial features a central display of the hours, minutes and seconds combined with a double rotating disc on the outer edge: one for the 24 reference cities and another with a 24-hour graduated scale. By simply adjusting the time zones through the crown, this 58-faceted watch – in both satin-brushed and polished stainless steel, or in a black steel livery with sandblasted surfaces – is ready to take on the world.

Also on the Octo list is the Octo Roma Central Tourbillon Papillon, which takes the unique reading of time as its complication. Its complex construction offers an unparalleled simplicity in the reading of hours and minutes. Inspired by the flight of a butterfly, the timepiece’s mechanism carries two independent retractable diamond-shaped hands positioned on a supporting disc, each of which runs in turn along a 180-degree semi-circular minute track. Taking this creation to new heights is its advantage in consuming less energy than the traditional minutes display, positively impacting its 60-hour power reserve indicated on the back of the rose old Octo Roma case.
