Sixty years ago, Breitling was chosen among all other watchmaking Houses to design the timepiece to be the first on astronauts’ wrists. In celebration of the anniversary of this remarkable event in history, Breitling offered the first-ever public viewing of the original Navitimer Cosmonaute since 1962 and finally revealed the watch’s incredible story. However, things didn’t end there. The House also dazzled us with the launch of a modern tribute to this iconic piece. It is available in a limited edition of 362 pieces that recognize both the spacecraft’s circumnavigations of the Earth and the year the mission made history.
