There are names in the fashion industry that can never be forgotten and Peter Lindbergh is definitely one of them. This master photographer left his mark on the world of photography and this book tells so many tales starting all the way back from the first-ever exhibition he curated. Entitled “Untold Stories”, this exhibition took place at the Düsseldorf Kunstpalast. It captured this genius’ vision and creativity, and thanks to the total artistic freedom he was given, the displayed collection of photographs was highly personal and shed the light on his unparalleled talent.

As a tribute to his contemporary take on culture and on the history of photos, the exhibition showcased emblematic and never-before-seen images of personalities that were close to him for many years such as Nicole Kidman, Uma Thurman, Robin Wright, Jessica Chastain, Naomi Campbell and many more. Following the same lead, this book features more than 150 photographs – many of them were unpublished – as well as a conversation between Lindbergh and Kunstpalast director Felix Krämer. As for the result, it’s Peter’s personal statement about his own work.
