What’s the one thing most women complain about doing every week? Blow drying their hair! Every time we wash our hair it is such a big commitment because we know that we have to blow dry it after. If you are lucky it doesn’t take long, but if you are from the curly hair group it could take up to an hour. I had seen a few products out there that promised to straighten your hair and save you time, but I thought “that’s not going to work on my hair”, but then a curly haired friend told me she saw someone at the gym using it and she bought one and it changed her life.

I’m sure there are other brands with similar products, but this is a very popular one. Revlon Salon One-Step Hair Dryer & Volumizer Hot Air Brush is one of those tools that becomes your best friend. For those of you with straight hair it also helps create more volume.

So, I finally ordered one and used it and this is my little review. Did it make my hair perfectly straight? Not yet. The reason I don’t say no is because I have literally only used it twice. The first time I used it I had to go over my roots with a blowdryer. Mind you I have very very curly roots that most hairdressers aren’t able to straighten with a blowdryer anyway. Once I watched a tutorial I felt like I learned how to hold it closer to my roots and that made a huge difference. It saves me so much time, it’s not heavy or hard to maneuver like a big blow dryer and brush. And, it’s not too loud so I can use it while baby is napping. So, it’s pretty amazing and I think you need to treat yourself to one for all those times you are in no mood to go to the salon, but you still want your hair to look good!
